The short version
Hobbify is reader-supported. When you click through to a course or buy equipment through our links, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we’d use ourselves.
What this means
Some of the links on Hobbify point to products or courses on other platforms (Amazon, Skillshare, Domestika, Craftsy, and others). If you click a link and then buy something — whether it’s the exact item we recommended or something else entirely — we may receive a small commission from the retailer.
You don’t pay anything extra. The price is exactly the same whether you come through Hobbify or go direct.
How we choose what to recommend
Every product and course recommended on Hobbify has been tested by someone on our team. We don’t publish sponsored placements. We don’t “top pick” things we haven’t used.
When we flag a caveat in a review, that’s because it’s genuine — not because a competitor asked us to. We’d rather you have an honest picture than a polished sales pitch.
What we won’t do
- Recommend something because it pays a higher commission.
- Hide which links are affiliate links. We flag them inline and in the footer.
- Publish sponsored reviews disguised as editorial.
- Keep recommending something we’ve stopped believing in, just because the commission is good.
Amazon disclosure
